Terms of Service

You may need an account to use certain Frettify features, including saved libraries, free credits, subscriptions, one-time credit purchases, and billing management. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and may not use Frettify for unlawful, abusive, or infringing purposes.

You may upload sheet music files, PDFs, images, MusicXML files, and related materials to Frettify. You retain ownership of the content you upload.

By uploading content, you grant Frettify permission to store, process, convert, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service. This includes generating MusicXML, guitar tablature, previews, saved library items, and related conversion outputs.

You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to upload and convert any music, score, image, file, or other content you submit to Frettify.

Frettify provides automated music conversion and tablature editing tools. Conversion results may contain errors, omissions, incorrect notes, incorrect rhythms, formatting issues, or fingerings that require review.

Frettify is intended to assist musicians, teachers, arrangers, and players. It is not a guarantee of perfect transcription, notation, tablature, or musical accuracy.

Frettify may offer monthly subscriptions and one-time conversion credit packs. New accounts get 3 free credits. One credit converts one PDF/image page or imports one MusicXML file, so a five-page score uses five credits. Plan and pack details, pricing, and included credits are shown on the Pricing page and during checkout.

Credit pack payments are processed through Stripe as one-time purchases. Subscription payments renew monthly until canceled and can be managed or canceled through the Frettify billing portal.

One-time credit packs do not reset monthly. Subscription capacity refreshes while the subscription is active. Free trial limits and promotional credits may have separate terms if stated.

Frettify may offer a limited free account experience, such as a first-page or trial conversion. MusicXML imports require conversion credits unless otherwise stated. Free usage limits may change at any time.

You may not use Frettify to upload or process content you do not have rights to use, violate copyright or other laws, attack or disrupt the service, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, bypass credit or access limits, share access credentials, or use Frettify in a way that harms other users or the service.

We work to keep Frettify available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, break, be limited, or be discontinued.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, create legal risk, fail to pay required charges, or harm Frettify or other users.

Frettify is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frettify LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of Frettify.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Frettify after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
