Privacy Policy

We may collect account information such as your email address, login provider, user ID, and authentication data.

If you choose to receive marketing emails, we may store your marketing email preference, consent time, and consent source.

We may collect uploaded and generated content, including PDFs, images, MusicXML files, score titles, editor state, generated tablature, conversion results, file names, and saved library items.

If you subscribe, we may store billing-related information such as your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan, billing status, cancellation status, and conversion quota usage. Frettify does not store your full payment card number.

We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device information, logs, error reports, and usage activity needed to operate and secure the service.

We use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, process uploaded music files, generate tablature and conversion outputs, save scores to your library, enforce conversion quotas, manage subscriptions, provide billing access, troubleshoot errors, secure the service, and improve Frettify.

If you opt in, we may also use your email address to send product updates, tips, and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

When you upload music files, Frettify may process them through our application servers, storage provider, and conversion backend. Uploaded PDFs, images, and MusicXML files may be stored so you can access saved library items later.

Some conversion workflows may send files to a backend conversion service used by Frettify to generate MusicXML or related outputs.

Frettify uses third-party service providers to operate the service. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; Stripe for billing and subscriptions; Vercel for hosting; Modal for conversion processing; and Google if you choose Google sign-in.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Frettify.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Frettify may receive subscription status, plan, customer ID, and billing metadata from Stripe, but Stripe handles payment card processing.

We keep account information, saved scores, uploaded files, generated outputs, billing records, and usage records for as long as needed to provide Frettify, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.

You may delete saved scores from your library where the app provides that option. To request account or data deletion, contact us at support@frettify.app.

You may choose not to create an account, but some features may not be available. You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Frettify is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Frettify after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
